these types of puzzles can be used in class 5 to give students an idea of what algebra is all about and why is it abstract in nature. #reasoning #algebra #class5 #maths
these puzzles work coz the shapes act as a variable here and students are still able to relate to these shapes rather than directly introducing the variables like a b c or xyz
agree with you on this, its always difficult for children to understand abstract concepts and algebra is too abstract for students, therefore using these kinds of puzzles and slowly replacing them with variables does make sense for them and becomes easy to understand the relation between the variables #algebra

When giving any any activity to students it is important we give them thought provoking questions as assignments too… example- Food chain is important. Draw the diagram and explain what would have happened if any one of the links in the chain is removed today. #foodchain #analysis #application

interesting way of making two concepts connect with each other. Decimals come from fractions and fractions are a part of whole. We can use these kind of activity sheets in class 4 and 5 when introducing decimals or revising the same. #conceptinterconnected #maths #decimals #fractions #application #activity

A person inhales Oxygen equivalent to approx 3 cylinders per day. I cylinder is Rs 700/- for three cylinders, it is Rs 2100/- that means Rs7,66,000/- per annum.
That means for an average life of a person of 6 years approx Rs 5 crores.
That is the value of air, which we get free from plants.
